NORTH PHILIPSBURG RESIDENT'S PASSING . ILLNESS FOR PAST 6 MONTHS PROVES FATAL TUESDAY EVENING TO MRS. WILLIAM DINSMORE .
Despite the tender care of loved ones in the home and an only aunt, Mrs. James Nixon, of Coldstream, as well as her attending physician, Mrs. William Dinsmore, an esteemed
resident of North Philipsburg, passed away at the family home on Tuesday evening, November 18, at 9:15 o'clock. Her death was due to complications from which she had been afflicted for the past six months. She had received treatment at the Philipsburg State Hospital a short period during her illness. Born at Youngstown, Ohio, May 4, 1866, she was age 64 years, 6 months, and 14 days. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Jackson, a daughter of John and Sara Jackson, both desceased. Shortly after the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Dismore 45 years ago, they established their home in Philipsburg where they continue to reside. To this union were born 8 children, all of whom survive, together with the grief stricken husband, as follows: Mrs. Thomas Hickson of Eleventh Street; Mrs. Fred Gearhart,


of Pine Street; William and George, of North Philipsburg, and Andy, John, Margaret, and Luemma at home; also two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Walter Holling, of North Philpsburg; Mrs. Thomas Devine, Johnstown, and John Jackson of North Philipsburg. Seven grandchildren are also bereft of a beloved grandmother. Her youngest sister, Mrs. James Shinafelt, of Johnstown, died five years previously on the same date. Mrs. Dinsmore's chief joy was in looking after the welfare of her loved ones, and her kindly manner and patience will ever remain as a sweet memory to those so sorely bereft. Her kindly attitude expanded beyond the boundaries of the home, as she maintained the spirit of helpfulness to those with whom she came in contact. In early childhood Mrs. Dinsmore became affiliated with
the Episcopal Church an continued in the faith. She also had membership in the Pocahontas Lodge, Golden Eagle, Forest Lodge, and Hope Auxiliary .

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternnon at 2:30 o'clock, with burial at the Philipsburg Cemetery. Parents: John JACKSON Sr and Sarah NIXON.
